We all know that the dryer eats socks, thus:
But no one ever told me that the dishwasher eats spoons. Day after day I notice spoon after spoon disappearing. We used to have more spoons that forks, now - not so much. I have come to no other conclusion than to accuse the dishwasher. Who's with me?

Oh yeah ... growing up my sister was famous for clearing her plate and a whole lot more. We ended up buying a bunch of cheap-o Target spoons so that we wouldn't always be looking for the few remaining survivors in our drawer. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Snapshots!
I've never had the problem before...but it's not impossible. I have a worse time losing socks in the wash/dryer. Now THAT is annoying. I lost a sock right after I had bought the pair. That really made me mad, lol. Hope your dishwasher coughs up your lost forks! Stopping by from SITS.
ReplyDeleteYeah, not so commonly, but so true.
ReplyDeleteWe always seem to be missing spoons too! When we was little I caught my son throwing away his spoon with the yogurt container he'd just eaten from, that explains some of them, but I don't know what's happening lately. When you figure it out, let me know!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! You are so wise! I am glad I stopped by today. By the way, I have a contest giveaway on my blog you might find fun. Take a look. triumphandtears.blogspot.com
