Busy Busy BEE!!!

This week is going to be so BUSY! Today along we have 20 emails to return (that's a lot, for us at least), five blog drafts to edit/design, two illustrations to edit and one blog to install.

Plus we've decided to combine all our sub companies into our main company, DreamUp Studios, leaving us with only one website. We've been thinking about this for awhile and finally decide to go ahead with it. It should make everything less complicated for everyone. I'm excited about it and pretty sure it's the right move for our company! But it adds to my workload and I'm feeling the pressure.

I want so badly for this business to succeed and I'm quit happy with where it is so far. We've come a long way. I'm scared that this move will hamper our progress, although it's intentions are the opposite. I hear those thoughts are normal for business orwners though... I'm very blessed and I'm not complaining. Just exploding my emotions into words for a moment.

How do you stay calm and get everything done when you feel like you have a million things to do? Any tips or advise for a busy business woman??

  1. Being busy when you have a business is such a blessing. But, yes it can be overwhelming!

I always make to-do lists for all the categories I'm working on. I get through the top priorties first and work my way down. Remember, you are only human :)

  2. I am currently a stay-at-home mom with a teen and two little boyos. We have roughly 5 to 7 appointments every week for the boys alone. I cannot live without a very detailed calendar, my iPad, which contains contact info for all the boys' specialists, and daily debriefs with The Hubs and Teen for scheduling issue and updates. I hope to go back to career land this upcoming summer and i KNOW that success will be dependent upon organizing and having a routine.

    Just my two cents.

    Lovely blog btw.
